TNCD albums are usually CDs containing original soundtracks from Paris By Night programs, or CDs recorded by one or more certain artists. Each album usually has 9 - 12 tracks (some discs have 8 or fewer tracks, while there are rare cases of an album with 13 to 15 tracks), with the total length of soundtracks between 40 and 60 minutes.
A TNCD album can be one of the following genres: pop, romance or country/yellow music ("nhạc trẻ", "nhạc trữ tình", "nhạc quê hương"/"nhạc vàng" respectively). Albums that contain the original soundtracks from Paris By Night programs are considered to be a "complication" album.
